Hollie: Behold! My disas- I mean, masterpiece!

Lorilei stood outside the household. It was a nice looking home, sitting on the edges of suburbia. It had your typical white picket fence, with a well-kept lawn and decorations. The house itself was blue and with a white trim. A big picture window overlooked the front lawn. Just off to the side of the house, Lorilei could see a swing set, signaling that there were children in the home.

She clenched her fists, and her blood was boiling. Her rage was so intense she was barely able to see straight. Children…figures. Does he have a little girl? Does he do to her what he does to me? A cold smile came across her features. Bet the wife doesn’t know about his little secret. She surveyed the area once more, taking notice that there seem to be no vehicle in sight. Just her luck…she’d traveled all the way to America and the jerk wasn’t even home.

Perhaps that worked to her advantage. She didn’t have to worry about him fleeing before she made it inside. She took another look around the block, to make sure she wasn’t being observed. Lorilei then snuck around to the back of the house. A few toys were scattered about the back lawn. Toddler sized children lived here. Good. They’ll be too young to be affected much. She made her way to the back door, pulling open the screen door, and inspecting the lock. It was a relatively easy lock to pick, as were most standard household locks. She took her lockpick out of her pocket and set to work. Within moments she heard a click. Satisfied, she opened the door and walked inside.

It was dim inside the house, but Lorilei knew better than to switch on a light. She stood in the kitchen, and let her eyes adjust. The kitchen itself was enough to make some people jealous, with new appliances, and spotless surface area. There were no tell tale signs of pets, for which Lorilei was grateful. Humans were the evil ones…animals didn’t deserve to die because of their owners. She removed her boots, and carried them to be sure she didn’t leave so much as a speck on the immaculate floor.

Cautiously she stepped into the adjoining dining room. A cabinet next to the window displayed a fine set of expensive looking china. The table was polished so that even in the dimness it gleamed. A faux chandelier overlooked the table. Ever so carefully Lorilei left the room in search of the master bedroom.

Every room she passed on the way made her angrier and angrier. Why does he deserve such good fortune? Such nice things…how dare he…he’ll pay. If the higher ups won’t bring him to justice, I’ll give him some of my own justice… With these thoughts in mind it was everything she could do to not smash all the expensive items, to lay waste to the household.

She found the master bedroom, and chuckled with malice. It was everything she expected. The giant king sized bed with the perfect white bedspread. The angelic white mosquito netting, and the big fluffy white pillows. The air was thick with the scent of artificial flowers, and she could see the decorations of potpourri on almost every surface. Lorilei saw the mahogany desk in the corner, and was again filled with rage. Memories of how this man had used her, robbed her of her dignity surfaced. She took a deep breath and tried to calm herself. He’d be back soon with his family and she’d make him pay.

She opened the closet door. One side was filled with business suits, the other with fancy dresses. A few well-polished black shoes were on the floor, and next to them were several pairs of high heels in different colours. Lorilei double-checked and saw that night clothing was not stored in the closet. Satisfied she stepped into the closet and closed the door. She slipped on her boots, and waited.

Lorilei did not have to wait long. It seemed that no sooner than she’d found her hiding place than she heard a car pull up and enter the garage. The sound of children’s voices came floating down the hall. The sound of the wife reprimanding them, and then she choked back a snarl as she heard his voice. It seemed to taunt her, to call for her. It took every ounce of will power to stay in place. He won’t be so happy for long, she thought with mild satisfaction.

The children were put to bed. The wife entered the room. Through the slats in the closet door Lorilei could see that she was very well dressed, though very plain looking. She had mousy brown hair, and lifeless looking flesh. Her make-up did nothing to bring out her features. When she spoke, it was in a rather timid tone.

“John, aren’t you coming to bed?” she said rather humbly.

He appeared in the doorway, dressed in a formal business suit. “You know I am Susan, there’s no need to ask,” he said simply, talking down to his wife.

Well, I guess I’m doing her a favour then, Lorilei thought. And as she stood there, listening, the couple undressed. She knew what was going to happen, had planned on it. And sure enough, when the lights went out again, and the two ended up on the bed, they started to make love. The time was almost there. Listening carefully she waited, and then when she could sense that he was about to finish the act, she opened the closet door.

The woman screamed in shock as Lorilei burst out of the closet. The man cursed and stopped what he was doing. Again it was as Lorilei anticipated. Tired from his actions, he was lethargic and slow.

“Hello John, remember me?” Lorilei said sweetly. “You know…the little girl you had your way with back on your trip to Moscow?” Her expression turned fierce. “Now it’s your turn to feel helpless!”

“John, what is she talking about?” The wife pleaded. John glared.

“I have no idea. Get out of here girl, before I call the cops!”

“Hmph, try reaching the phone,” Lorilei shot back. She drew her icy blades. The woman started to scream again, and Lorilei froze her mouth shut. Lorilei then yanked the man out of the bed, and slammed him against the wall. “Prepare to die!”

He smirked. Lorilei was shocked, then enraged. How dare he smile like that at me?! How dare he?! In a rage she stabbed a blade into his mouth and jerked it up to his ear, turned it and slashed a line up to his other ear. He howled in pain as Lorilei gave his face a permanent grin. Lorilei was suddenly knocked to the side.

Taken by surprise, Lorilei turned to her assailant. The wife had tackled her. In a movement Lorilei stabbed the woman. “I have no issue with you! Stay out of this!” she hissed, knocking the terrified woman down. She froze the womans’ skin to the carpet so that she couldn’t move. She turned her attention back to the man who was crawling to the door. Calmly she walked over and stepped on his hand, grinding her boot down to crush all the bones in his hand. He let out a tortured scream, blood dripping from his mouth.

Lorilei sneered at him. “Not so tough now are you?” she remarked nastily. There was pounding on the bedroom door, but the man had locked it earlier that night.  She could here the children panicking on the other side and knew her time was running short. She pulled him up by his ruined hand, and pushed him over onto the bed. Cool as a cucumber she castrated him.

The woman was whimpering next to the bed. Lorilei was further enraged. “Grow a backbone would you?” she snarled. Lorilei slashed open the mans’ abdomen, cutting and tearing, and the tipped the man so that his insides spilled all over his wife, who gave a muffled scream of terror and disgust. “Here’s a tip for you dearie…next time you don’t pick a husband whose going to cause trouble for your family!” she said with delight. She heard banging at the front door…either the cops had appeared, or it was anxious neighbours. Either way, her time was up. “Sorry hun, I’d love to stay and chat, but I should get going,” she remarked with feigned sorrow. “Look on the bright side…at least your husband is still alive,” she said, chuckling at the detail.

With a mock salute she climbed out the window. She heard cries of alarm as neighbours noticed her departure. It mattered little to her. They were unable to catch up, and the moment she made it to the bus depot she rushed for the washroom. It was empty. She headed into the handicap stall, and pulled out the loose tiles behind the toilet. She grabbed the shoulder bag from the hollow point. She changed with the clothes that were in the bag, making sure she put the clothes from the job into her bag, as well as the wig she had been wearing. Carefully she pulled out make up removing pads from the bag.

Lorilei left the stall, and removed the feature altering make-up from her face. She looked deep into the mirror, and grinned. Mission accomplished. She left the dismal washroom, and pulled a ticket from her pocket. As she boarded the bus heading over the border to Canada, she watched as police arrived at the bus depot. The moment they were out of sight, she let a tiny smile escape. Onto the land of opportunity, where she could begin anew, with no one knowing her identity.

Go buy your own ticket to a new beginning!

Brings a whole new meaning to "angry and pubescent" doesn't it?

You cannot escape the green thing! Unless you sign the guestbook. =D
